Training 

We provide the best training in the industry, and it’s always ongoing. When you start with us, you will receive a seven-day induction. We also pay for time spent training because we’re keen to support you while you learn. You can earn qualifications while working for us like diplomas in health & social care. 

Pay 

Care jobs with Martlets Care offer pay that is in line with the local living wage and we also offer additional benefits. Our pay rates range from £11.50 – £21.50 per hour. We also give our carers 4 weeks of paid holiday every year.  

Flexible hours 

We can give you flexible hours so you can work around other responsibilities. We are also happy to provide you with contracted hours if that works for you.  

Uniform 

We provide and pay for your uniform and any other items you need such as PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).  

Travel 

We pay you for time spent travelling, as well as your mileage. This means that if you are travelling a longer distance between calls, you won’t lose out. 

Call time 

We give you the time to support the people you’re caring for. That’s why as standard, our visits are longer than other care agencies minimum. We do not offer 15 minute visits, so you’ll have the time to support the person you need to.  

Progression 

Our care professionals can progress to field care supervisors. This means you can take on extra responsibilities and progress up the care career ladder.  

Support

You will have a dedicated line manager who will support and meet with you regularly to ensure that any development/training needs you require are accessed to support progression within the company. 

Clientele  

Although we are part of the Martlets group we don’t just care for people at the end-of-life. We care for anyone who has a support need from the age of 18.
